    This resource outlines the new curricula for Basic Trainees in Adult Internal Medicine and Paediatrics & Child Health who started Basic Training in 2025.

    The new curricula consist of curricula standards supported by learning, teaching, and assessment programs.

    Access to the Training Management Platform (TMP)

    • If you have an RACP User ID and password, review the TMP information sheet to find out how to help you successfully access and use the TMP especially within the workplace.
    • The portal overview guides for trainees and supervisors and DPEs will help you to understand the basic navigation and functionality of the TMP portal.

    Don’t have an RACP account?

    • New RACP trainees can complete a new user form to set up an RACP account login to access TMP to submit an application to enter a RACP training program. As part of this process you will be required to set up your multi-factor authentication used by the RACP to protect your data.
    • For supervisors without an RACP account, trainees can provide a supervisor’s contact details in TMP for staff to create an RACP account and share login details with the supervisor.

  • The curricula standards outline the educational objectives of the training program and the standards against which trainees’ abilities are measured. The revised Basic Training curricula standards have been designed in line with international best practice with the aim of improving paediatrician and physician training, and ultimately patient care and patient outcomes.
