Manage the care of acute clinical changes in the palliative care setting, including palliative care emergencies
This activity requires the ability to:
- identify acute changes in clinical condition, including palliative care emergencies
- initiate management appropriate to patients’ stage of disease, prognosis, and goals of care
- comply with local processes for escalation of care as appropriate
- collaborate with other medical teams as appropriate
